You're 6 weeks old today. Already, you have become so much a part of our family that it feels like you were always with us. You are a wonderful baby; everyone who knows you says so. You rarely, if ever cry and you continue to nurse and sleep well. Unlike your sister who was sleeping well through the night at this point, you are still up 1-2 times in the night but you feed quickly and go right back to sleep so Mommy is thankful for at least that much. You are growing quickly. At your 3 week appt you were 10 lbs 11 oz so I am sure you are now close to 13 lbs.

Maggie still calls you "Nammy" and is very attentive and helpful. She has however displayed jealously towards you when you are in your Daddy's arms. Since becoming a 4 person family, Daddy cares for Maggie in an effort to help me take care of you which has resulted in Maggie becoming even more of a Daddy's girl which I think has contributed to this jealously factor. Mom's been trying to spend more quality time with her alone when I get the chance. Hopefully this will help.

Another challenge with Maggie is keeping your soother away from her. She too took a soother as a baby and still likes to have one therefore she is constantly stealing yours. It has become such an issue that we had to separate the car seats.

We just spent a hectic but fun week in Miramichi where you were adored by all. It's hard to believe that next year you'll be running around on the beach with Maggie and your cousins but wait....I don't want to wish our year of quality time away. Right now your Daddy is rocking you...it's so nice to see him tenderly loving his little boy.

We love you more and more each day and can't wait to see your personality develop.
